February 10, 2024: Eau Claire, WI 54701 Marshfield Tigers (Marshfield, WI) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Eau Claire Memorial Old Abes (Eau Claire, WI), 62-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Marshfield upgrades its record to 19-2 on the season. The Tigers host Stevens Point (Stevens Point, WI) to confront the Panthers in a Wisconsin Valley challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 19-2. Stevens Point won 61-39 in their recent league challenge against Merrill (Merrill, WI)
Next up, the Old Abes confront the Chippewa Falls Cardinals (Chippewa Falls, WI) in a Big Rivers challenge, on Monday, February 12. Eau Claire Memorial will attempt to improve on its 15-6 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 1-18 record after their 71-56 league loss to Menomonie (Menomonie, WI).
