The Sioux Valley Cossacks basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the host Parker Pheasants to 37 in the Cossacks non-league victory on Saturday.

The Cossacks now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Castlewood for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13. Sioux Valley will battle a Warriors team coming off a 61-50 league win over Deubrook (White, SD). The Warriors record now stands at 16-2.

The Pheasants (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against Canton (Canton, SD). The C-Hawks come into the A Region 4 contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, Canton was routed by Madison (Madison, SD), 80-74, in a non-league contest.
