New Jersey High School Basketball - Union City tops Bloomfield
February 10, 2024: Union City, NJ 07087 Union City Soaring Eagles (Union City, NJ) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Bloomfield Bengals (Bloomfield, NJ), 59-42 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Union City upgrades its record to 17-7 on the campaign. The Soaring Eagles travel to Lincoln (Jersey City, NJ) to play the Lions in a Hudson County - American bout on Monday, February 12. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 7-15. Lincoln won 54-43 in their recent league bout against North Bergen (North Bergen, NJ)
Next up, the Bengals play the Bard Early College Raptors (Newark, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 14. Bloomfield will attempt to upgrade on its 10-11 season record.
