South Dakota High School Basketball - Sully Buttes holds off Lower Brule
February 10, 2024: Lower Brule, SD 57548 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Sully Buttes Chargers (Onida, SD) and the host Lower Brule Sioux (Lower Brule, SD), saw Sully Buttes's basketball squad hold off Lower Brule by a tally of 43-40.
With the victory, Sully Buttes improves its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Chargers host Sunshine Bible Academy (Miller, SD) to confront the Crusaders in a B Region 6 challenge on Tuesday, February 13. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 3-13. Sunshine Bible Academy lost 53-44 in their recent league challenge against Ipswich (Ipswich, SD)
Next up, the Sioux confront the Little Wound Mustangs (Kyle, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 12. Lower Brule will attempt to improve on its 6-12 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 61-38 non-league win over Lead-Deadwood (Lead, SD).
