Kentucky High School Basketball - Madison Southern knocked off by Pineville
February 10, 2024: Berea, KY 40403 The Pineville Mountain Lions basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Madison Southern Eagles to 54 in the Mountain Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Mountain Lions now sport a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Laurel for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 13. Pineville will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 71-60 non-league loss to Pikeville (Pikeville, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 17-10.
The Eagles (13-9) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln County (Stanford, KY). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 9-13 record. In their last contest, Lincoln County was outscored by Danville (Danville, KY), 49-32, in a league contest.
