Kentucky High School Basketball - Owsley County trounces West Carter
February 10, 2024: Booneville, KY 41314 The Owsley County Owls / Lady Owls (Booneville, KY) basketball crushed the visiting West Carter Comets (Olive Hill, KY), 77-44 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Owls / Lady Owls (19-6) will now prepare for their test against Hazard (Hazard, KY). The Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 12-13 record. In their last test, Hazard walloped Estill County (Irvine, KY), 52-34, in a non-league test.
The Comets now own a 4-20 record. They play next when they travel to Lewis County for a non-league test on Monday, February 12. West Carter will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 52-6 non-league win over Fairview (Ashland, KY). The Lions record now stands at 7-17.
