February 10, 2024: Shingle Springs, CA 95682 The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) and the visiting Pioneer Patriots (Woodland, CA), saw Ponderosa's soccer squad get by Pioneer by a count of 3-2.
The Bruins now hold a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Oakdale for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 14. Ponderosa will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Ceres (Ceres, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 16-6.
With the loss, Pioneer drops to 14-3 on the season.
