Tara Trojans (Baton Rouge, LA) followers left the game pleased Monday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Northeast Vikings (Pride, LA), 5-3 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Tara moves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Trojans host Kennedy (New Orleans, LA) to battle the Cougars in a non-league match on Monday, February 17. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 1-1.

The Vikings now possess a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Scotlandville for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11.
