Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Bellwood-Antis can't hold off Juniata Valley
February 10, 2025: Alexandria, PA 16611 Juniata Valley Hornets (Alexandria, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils (Bellwood, PA), 73-66 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Juniata Valley upgrades its record to 9-11 on the year. The Hornets travel to Huntingdon (Huntingdon, PA) to face the Bearcats in a Laurel Highlands match on Tuesday, February 11. The Bearcats enter the match with a record of 11-10. Huntingdon won 62-40 in their recent league match against Bald Eagle Area (Wingate, PA)
The Blue Devils now sport a 0-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Williamsburg for a non-league match on Wednesday, February 12. Bellwood-Antis will face a Blue Pirates squad coming off a 80-29 non-league win over Harmony Area (Westover, PA). The Blue Pirates record now stands at 13-8.
