Ohio High School Basketball - Fairview thwarts Hilltop
February 10, 2025: Sherwood, OH 43556 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Fairview Apaches (Sherwood, OH) and the visiting Hilltop Cadets (West Unity, OH), observed Fairview's basketball team knock off Hilltop by a score of 54-37.
The Apaches (8-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Montpelier (Montpelier, OH). The Locomotives come into the non-league challenge with a 14-4 record. In their last challenge, Montpelier prevailed over North Central (Pioneer, OH), 67-49, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cadets encounter the Pettisville Blackbirds (Pettisville, OH) in a Buckeye Border challenge, on Friday, February 14. Hilltop will attempt to improve on its 7-13 season record. The Blackbirds come into the challenge with a 15-4 record after their 40-26 league win over Stryker (Stryker, OH).
