Missouri High School Basketball - Lesterville sneaks past Marquand-Zion
February 10, 2025: Marquand, MO 63655 The Lesterville Bearcats (Lesterville, MO) basketball edged the host Marquand-Zion Tigers (Marquand, MO), 77-75 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Bearcats now possess a 7-11 record. They play next when they travel to Ellington for a Black River bout on Wednesday, February 12. Lesterville will play a Whippets team coming off a 82-46 league loss to Bunker (Bunker, MO). The Whippets record now stands at 4-10.
With the loss, Marquand-Zion falls to 3-13 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Zalma (Zalma, MO) to play the Bulldogs in a Mississippi Valley bout on Monday, February 17. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 0-5.
