February 10, 2025: Middletown, CT 06457 In Monday's league contest, the visiting Maloney Spartans basketball team scored a close 54-51 triumph over the Middletown Blue Dragons.
The Spartans (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Platt (Meriden, CT). The Panthers go into the Central Connecticut - South Colonial contest with a 12-4 record. In their last contest, Platt nipped Plainville (Plainville, CT), 81-62, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Blue Dragons battle the Berlin Redcoats (Berlin, CT) in a Central Connecticut - South Colonial contest, on Thursday, February 13. Middletown will attempt to better on its 4-13 season record. The Redcoats go into the contest with a 4-12 record after their 48-30 non-league loss to New Britain (New Britain, CT).
