Louisiana High School Basketball - Maurepas nips Slaughter Community Charter
February 10, 2025: Slaughter, LA 70777 In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Maurepas Wolves basketball team scored a close 57-56 win over the Slaughter Community Charter Knights.
The Wolves (15-16) will now prepare for their contest against False River (New Roads, LA). The Gators come into the non-league contest with a 10-21 record. In their last contest, False River was tipped by St. John (Plaquemine, LA), 47-40, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Knights battle the Northeast Vikings (Pride, LA) in a 2A District 8 contest, on Tuesday, February 11. Slaughter Community Charter will attempt to better on its 10-13 season record. The Vikings come into the contest with a 11-13 record after their 72-47 non-league loss to Southern Lab (Baton Rouge, LA).
