Minnesota High School Basketball - Mayer Lutheran trounced by Spectrum
February 10, 2025: Mayer, MN 55360 Spectrum Sting (Elk River, MN) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Mayer Lutheran Crusaders (Mayer, MN), 85-49 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Spectrum advances its record to 15-5 on the year. The Sting host Kimball (Kimball, MN) to meet the Cubs in a AA Section 6 match on Tuesday, February 18. The Cubs enter the match with a record of 15-5.
The Crusaders now own a 10-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cleveland for a A Section 2 match on Tuesday, February 11. Mayer Lutheran will meet a Clippers squad coming off a 77-74 non-league win over West Lutheran (Plymouth, MN). The Clippers record now stands at 11-11.
