Illinois High School Basketball - North Mac bests Pittsfield
February 10, 2025: Virden, IL 62690 The North Mac Panthers basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Pittsfield Saukees to 40 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Panthers now possess a 9-16 record. They play next when they travel to Hillsboro for a South Central game on Tuesday, February 11. North Mac will play a Hiltoppers team coming off a 59-49 non-league loss to Nokomis (Nokomis, IL). The Hiltoppers record now stands at 10-15.
With the loss, Pittsfield falls to 7-15 on the campaign. The Saukees travel to Beardstown (Beardstown, IL) to play the Tigers in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 11. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 6-18. Beardstown lost 58-52 in their recent league game against Seymour (Payson, IL)
