February 10, 2025: Hot Springs, SD 57747 Bennett County Warriors (Martin, SD) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Hot Springs Bison (Hot Springs, SD), 58-24 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Bennett County upgrades its record to 15-2 on the year. The Warriors host Cody-Kilgore (Cody, NE) to face the Cowboys/Cowgirls in a non-league match on Thursday, February 13. The Cowboys/Cowgirls enter the match with a record of 9-10. Cody-Kilgore won 38-21 in their recent non-league match against Minatare (Minatare, NE)
The Bison now sport a 2-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine Ridge for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11. Hot Springs will face a Thorpes squad coming off a 78-33 league loss to Lakota Tech (Pine Ridge, SD). The Thorpes record now stands at 8-5.
