Michigan High School Basketball - Calvary Baptist Academy bested by Valley Lutheran
February 10, 2025: Saginaw, MI 48603 Valley Lutheran Chargers (Saginaw, MI) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Calvary Baptist Academy Kings (Midland, MI), 48-32 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Valley Lutheran advances its record to 7-9 on the year. The Chargers host Oscoda (Oscoda, MI) to face the Owls in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 11. The Owls enter the match with a record of 13-1. Oscoda won 44-26 in their recent non-league match against Tawas Area (Tawas City, MI)
The Kings now own a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy for a non-league match on Friday, February 14. Calvary Baptist Academy will face a Dragons squad coming off a 49-23 non-league loss to Hemlock (Hemlock, MI). The Dragons record now stands at 12-4.
