Maryland High School Basketball - North Point triumphant over Lackey
February 10, 2025: Indian Head, MD 20640 The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the North Point Eagles (Waldorf, MD) and the host Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD), observed North Point's basketball team overwhelm Lackey by a score of 69-24.
The Eagles (14-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Westlake (Waldorf, MD). The Wolverines come into the Southern Maryland challenge with a 6-11 record. In their last challenge, Westlake trounced La Plata (La Plata, MD), 49-40, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Chargers encounter the Patuxent Panthers (Lusby, MD) in a Southern Maryland challenge, on Friday, February 14. Lackey will attempt to improve on its 1-15 season record.
