Kentucky High School Basketball - South Warren nips Russell County
February 10, 2025: Russell Springs, KY 42642 In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting South Warren Spartans basketball team scored a close 64-63 triumph over the Russell County Lakers.
The Spartans (10-12) will now prepare for their contest against Ohio County (Hartford, KY). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 9-10 record. In their last contest, Ohio County was tipped by Butler County (Morgantown, KY), 59-55, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Lakers battle the Clinton County Bulldogs (Albany, KY) in a District 16 contest, on Thursday, February 13. Russell County will attempt to better on its 10-14 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 8-16 record after their 46-44 non-league loss to Casey County (Liberty, KY).
