In Tuesday's non-league test, the Polytechnic Parrots (Fort Worth, TX) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Roosevelt Mustangs (Dallas, TX), by a tally of 22-9.

Coming up next, the Parrots encounter the Trimble Tech Bulldogs (Fort Worth, TX) in a 5A Region I District 7 outing, on Thursday, February 12. Polytechnic will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a 1-2 record after their 40-34 non-league loss to Everman (Everman, TX).
