Cedar Falls Tigers (Cedar Falls, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Western Dubuque Bobcats (Epworth, IA), 66-60 in a league bout.

With the win, Cedar Falls upgrades its record to 15-2 on the season. The Tigers travel to Waverly-Shell Rock (Waverly, IA) to play the Go-Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 12. The Go-Hawks go into the bout with a record of 12-9. Waverly-Shell Rock lost 64-50 in their recent league bout against Decorah-North Winneshiek (Decorah, IA)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Waterloo East Trojans (Waterloo, IA) in a Mississippi Valley bout, on Tuesday, February 15. Western Dubuque will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 4-14 record after their 68-63 league win over Liberty (North Liberty, IA).
