Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Green City Gophers (Green City, MO) and the host La Plata Bulldogs (La Plata, MO), saw Green City's basketball squad wallop La Plata by a tally of 85-52.

With the victory, Green City improves its record to 17-6 on the campaign. The Gophers travel to Higbee (Higbee, MO) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 14. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 23-1. Higbee won 72-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Hardin-Central (Hardin, MO)
