February 11, 2022: New Martinsville, WV 26155 In Friday's league match, the host Magnolia Blue Eagles basketball team scored a tight 72-65 triumph over the Weir Red Riders.
In their next game, the Blue Eagles meet the River Pilots (Hannibal, OH) in a non-league match, on Monday, February 14. Magnolia will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record. The Pilots enter the match with a 18-1 record after their 58-35 non-league win over Barnesville (Barnesville, OH).
With the defeat, Weir moves to 6-9 on the year. The Red riders travel to Wheeling Central Catholic (Wheeling, WV) to meet the Maroon Knights in a Ohio Valley AA match on Tuesday, February 15. The Maroon Knights enter the match with a record of 15-1. Wheeling Central Catholic won 60-52 in their recent non-league match against Monroe Central (Woodsfield, OH)
