Missouri High School Basketball - Mountain Grove overwhelms Salem
February 11, 2022: Mountain Grove, MO 65711 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Mountain Grove Panthers (Mountain Grove, MO) and the visiting Salem Tigers (Salem, MO), saw Mountain Grove's basketball squad wallop Salem by a tally of 77-41.
With the victory, Mountain Grove improves its record to 11-11 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Liberty (Mountain View, MO) to confront the Eagles in a South Central challenge on Tuesday, February 15. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 10-8. Liberty lost 72-57 in their recent league challenge against Thayer (Thayer, MO)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Viburnum Blue Jays (Viburnum, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 14. Salem will attempt to improve on its 0-14 season record. The Blue Jays come into the challenge with a 0-15 record after their 92-23 league loss to Vienna (Vienna, MO).
