West Point-Beemer Cadets (West Point, NE) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Oakland-Craig Knights (Oakland, NE), 32-30 in a league bout.

With the victory, West Point-Beemer upgrades its record to 11-12 on the campaign. The Cadets host Archbishop Bergan (Fremont, NE) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, February 18. The Knights enter the game with a record of 13-8. Archbishop Bergan won 64-41 in their recent non-league game against Guardian Angels Central Catholic (West Point, NE)

With the defeat, Oakland-Craig moves to 10-10 on the year. The Knights travel to Bancroft-Rosalie/Lyons-Decatur Northeast (Bancroft, NE) to face the Wolverines in a non-league game on Monday, February 14. The Wolverines enter the game with a record of 6-14.
