Massachusetts High School Basketball - Worcester Tech can't hold off Auburn
February 11, 2023: Worcester, MA 01604 The Auburn Rockets basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the host Worcester Tech Eagles to 39 in the Rockets non-league victory on Saturday.
The Rockets now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Uxbridge for a South Worcester County - A contest on Monday, February 13. Auburn will meet a Spartans team coming off a 59-46 non-league win over Southbridge (Southbridge, MA). The Spartans record now stands at 9-7.
With the defeat, Worcester Tech moves to 11-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to Advanced Math & Science Academy (Marlborough, MA) to meet the Eagles in a Colonial match on Wednesday, February 15. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 4-12. Advanced Math & Science Academy lost 51-35 in their recent league match against Montachusett RVT (Fitchburg, MA)
