Washington, DC High School Basketball - Avalon knocked off by St. Albans
February 11, 2023: Washington, DC 20016 The St. Albans Bulldogs basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Avalon Black Knights to 65 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 13-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Georgetown Prep for a Interstate Athletic contest on Wednesday, February 15. St. Albans will meet a Little Hoyas team coming off a 61-56 league loss to Landon (Bethesda, MD). The Little Hoyas record now stands at 14-9.
The Black Knights (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against St. Anselm's Abbey (Washington, DC). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 9-11 record. In their last contest, St. Anselm's Abbey was outscored by Hebrew Academy (Rockville, MD), 58-43, in a league contest.
