February 11, 2023: Cordova, AK 99574 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Seward Seahawks (Seward, AK) and the host Cordova Wolverines (Cordova, AK), saw Seward's basketball squad overcome Cordova by a tally of 44-33.
With the victory, Seward improves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Seahawks travel to Kenai Central (Kenai, AK) to confront the Kardinals in a 3A Peninsula challenge on Friday, February 17. The Kardinals come into the challenge with a record of 9-7. Kenai Central lost 46-28 in their recent league challenge against Grace Christian (Anchorage, AK)
Next up, the Wolverines confront the Bristol Bay Angels (Naknek, AK) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 15. Cordova will attempt to better on its 13-6 season record. The Angels come into the battle with a 3-11 record after their 47-37 league loss to Tanalian (Port Alsworth, AK).
