South Dakota High School Basketball - Douglas overwhelms Lead-Deadwood
February 11, 2023: Box Elder, SD 57719 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Douglas Patriots (Box Elder, SD) and the visiting Lead-Deadwood Golddiggers (Lead, SD), saw Douglas's basketball squad wallop Lead-Deadwood by a tally of 82-42.
With the victory, Douglas improves its record to 5-12 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Spearfish (Spearfish, SD) to play the Spartans in a AA challenge on Thursday, February 16. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 5-9.
Next up, the Golddiggers play the Custer Wildcats (Custer, SD) in a A Region 8 challenge, on Thursday, February 16. Lead-Deadwood will attempt to improve on its 4-16 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 7-10 record after their 71-36 non-league win over Wall (Wall, SD).
