Connecticut High School Basketball - Southington crushes East Lyme
February 11, 2023: Southington, CT 06489 Southington Blue Knights (Southington, CT) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting East Lyme Vikings (East Lyme, CT), 71-37 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Southington upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Blue Knights host Bristol Eastern (Bristol, CT) to play the Lancers in a Central Connecticut - West Colonial bout on Tuesday, February 14. The Lancers come into the bout with a record of 9-8. Bristol Eastern won 64-50 in their recent league bout against Plainville (Plainville, CT)
Next up, the Vikings play the St. Bernard Saints (Uncasville, CT) in a Eastern Connecticut I bout, on Tuesday, February 14. East Lyme will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Saints come into the bout with a 14-3 record after their 78-50 non-league loss to Malden Catholic (Malden, MA).
