Illinois High School Basketball - Elk Grove edges Glenbard East
February 11, 2023: Lombard, IL 60148 The Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL) basketball nipped the host Glenbard East Rams (Lombard, IL), 72-68 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Grenadiers (6-22) will now prepare for their test against Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 12-15 record.
The Rams now own a 8-22 record. They play next when they travel to Bartlett for a Upstate Eight test on Tuesday, February 14. Glenbard East will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 55-53 league win over Larkin (Elgin, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 18-11.
