The Wellsboro Hornets basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Loyalsock Township Lancers to 44 in the Hornets non-league victory on Saturday.

The Hornets now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sayre for a Northern Tier contest on Thursday, February 16. Wellsboro will battle a Redskins team coming off a 65-51 league win over Cowanesque Valley (Westfield, PA). The Redskins record now stands at 12-10.

The Lancers (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Central Mountain (Mill Hall, PA). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 20-1 record.
