Saddle River Day Rebels (Saddle River, NJ) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Northern Highlands Highlanders (Allendale, NJ), 73-61 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Saddle River Day upgrades its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Pascack Hills (Montvale, NJ) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 16. The Broncos come into the bout with a record of 8-8.

Next up, the Highlanders play the Fair Lawn Cutters (Fair Lawn, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Northern Highlands will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Cutters come into the bout with a 11-4 record after their 43-37 league loss to Wayne Valley (Wayne, NJ).
