The Estill County Engineers basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Buckhorn Wildcats to 40 in the Engineers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Engineers now sport a 12-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bath County for a non-league contest on Monday, February 13. Estill County will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 57-53 non-league win over Madison Southern (Berea, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 14-12.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Betsy Layne Bobcats (Betsy Layne, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 11. Buckhorn will attempt to upgrade on its 10-9 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 3-12 record after their 48-47 league win over Prestonsburg (Prestonsburg, KY).
