Ohio High School Basketball - St. Mary Catholic Central overwhelmed by Hopewell-Loudon
February 11, 2023: Bascom, OH 44809 The Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting St. Mary Catholic Central Falcons/Kestrels to 27 in the Chieftains non-league victory on Saturday.
The Chieftains now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Mary Central Catholic for a Sandusky Bay - River contest on Saturday, February 11. Hopewell-Loudon will battle a Panthers team coming off a 45-21 league loss to Gibsonburg (Gibsonburg, OH). The Panthers record now stands at 0-21.
The Falcons/Kestrels (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Huron (New Boston, MI). The Chiefs come into the Huron contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Huron was routed by Riverview (Riverview, MI), 61-22, in a league contest.
