Alaska High School Basketball - North Pole thwarts Seward
February 11, 2023: North Pole, AK 99705 The North Pole Patriots (North Pole, AK) basketball knocked off the visiting Seward Seahawks (Seward, AK), 39-26 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Patriots (10-2) will now prepare for their test against Ben Eielson (Eielson AFB, AK). The Ravens go into the non-league test with a 0-14 record. In their last test, Ben Eielson went down by Haines (Haines, AK), 61-14, in a non-league test.
The Seahawks now own a 13-5 record. They play next when they travel to Kenai Central for a 3A Peninsula test on Friday, February 17. Seward will encounter a Kardinals squad coming off a 62-16 league loss to Grace Christian (Anchorage, AK). The Kardinals record now stands at 11-5.
