February 11, 2023: Wayne, MI 48184 In Saturday's non-league challenge, the Wayne Memorial Zebras (Wayne, MI) ice hockey team nudged the visiting Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish (Pontiac, MI), by a margin of 4-3.
The Zebras now possess a 11-24 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Franklin for a Kensington Lakes - South challenge on Monday, February 13. Wayne Memorial will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 4-2 non-league loss to Brother Rice (Bloomfield Hills, MI). The Patriots record now stands at 18-16.
The Fighting Irish (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Churchill (Livonia, MI). The Chargers enter the non-league challenge with a 10-25 record.
