February 11, 2025: Medina, OH 44256 The Highland Hornets basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Avon Eagles to 44 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hornets now possess a 17-3 record. They play next when they host Barberton for a Suburban - American game on Friday, February 14. Highland will confront a Magics team coming off a 55-53 league loss to Roosevelt (Kent, OH). The Magics record now stands at 10-10.
With the loss, Avon falls to 10-9 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Steele (Amherst, OH) to confront the Comets in a Southwestern game on Friday, February 14. The Comets go into the game with a record of 13-7. Steele won 66-38 in their recent non-league game against Vermilion (Vermilion, OH)
