Iowa High School Basketball - Ballard holds off Hoover
February 11, 2025: Des Moines, IA 50310 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Ballard Bombers basketball team scored a close 58-51 triumph over the Hoover Huskies.
The Bombers (17-1) will now prepare for their contest against Winterset (Winterset, IA). The Huskies go into the Raccoon River contest with a 6-16 record. In their last contest, Winterset nipped Carlisle (Carlisle, IA), 64-51, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Huskies confront the Saydel Eagles (Des Moines, IA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, February 13. Hoover will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 11-9 record after their 79-64 league win over Roland-Story (Story City, IA).
