North Dakota High School Basketball - New Salem holds off Belfield
February 11, 2025: New Salem, ND 58563 The New Salem Holsteins basketball team scored 47 points and limited the visiting Belfield Bantams to 41 in the Holsteins non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Holsteins now have a 7-12 record. They play next when they host Washburn for a B District 8 game on Thursday, February 13. New Salem will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 72-61 non-league win over Flasher (Flasher, ND). The Cardinals record now stands at 13-5.
With the loss, Belfield falls to 10-8 on the campaign. The Bantams travel to South Heart (South Heart, ND) to confront the Eagles in a B District 7 game on Friday, February 14. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 9-9. South Heart lost 66-34 in their recent non-league game against Lemmon (Lemmon, SD)
