February 11, 2025: Kidron, OH 44636 Central Christian Comets (Kidron, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Waynedale Golden Bears (Apple Creek, OH), 74-44 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Central Christian upgrades its record to 15-5 on the year. The Comets travel to Lucas (Lucas, OH) to face the Cubs in a Mid-Buckeye match on Friday, February 14. The Cubs enter the match with a record of 2-15.
The Golden Bears now sport a 6-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwestern for a Wayne County match on Friday, February 14. Waynedale will face a Huskies squad coming off a 84-74 non-league win over Wellington (Wellington, OH). The Huskies record now stands at 3-18.
