February 11, 2025: Providence, RI 02903 Classical Purple (Providence, RI) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting St. Raphael Academy Saints (Pawtucket, RI), 67-59 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Classical upgrades its record to 15-5 on the year. The Purple travel to Pilgrim (Warwick, RI) to face the Patriots in a non-league match on Wednesday, February 12. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 14-7. Pilgrim won 70-52 in their recent league match against St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI)
The Saints now sport a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cranston West for a Division II match on Wednesday, February 12. St. Raphael Academy will face a Falcons squad coming off a 51-27 league win over Tiverton (Tiverton, RI). The Falcons record now stands at 10-10.
