Michigan High School Basketball - Covenant Christian overwhelms Mason County Central
February 11, 2025: Grand Rapids, MI 49534 The Covenant Christian Chargers basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Mason County Central Spartans to 31 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Chargers now possess a 15-4 record. They play next when they host Potter's House Christian for a non-league game on Friday, February 14. Covenant Christian will confront a Pumas team coming off a 68-40 non-league loss to Oakridge (Muskegon, MI). The Pumas record now stands at 7-11.
With the loss, Mason County Central falls to 11-9 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Shelby (Shelby, MI) to confront the Tigers in a Western Michigan Lakes - Rivers game on Friday, February 14. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 3-16. Shelby lost 74-30 in their recent league game against North Muskegon (North Muskegon, MI)
