New York High School Basketball - Don Bosco Prep holds off Iona Prep
February 11, 2025: New Rochelle, NY 10804 The Don Bosco Prep Ironmen basketball team scored 70 points and limited the host Iona Prep Gaels to 63 in the Ironmen non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Ironmen now possess a 13-5 record. They play next when they travel to Bergen Catholic for a non-league game on Sunday, February 16. Don Bosco Prep will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 84-74 non-league win over Roselle Catholic (Roselle, NJ). The Crusaders record now stands at 19-4.
With the loss, Iona Prep falls to 14-10 on the campaign. The Gaels travel to Xaverian (Brooklyn, NY) to confront the Clippers in a non-league game on Wednesday, February 12. The Clippers go into the game with a record of 12-11. Xaverian lost 61-47 in their recent league game against Archbishop Molloy (Queens, NY)
