February 11, 2025: Evergreen Park, IL 60805 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Evergreen Park Mustangs (Evergreen Park, IL) and the visiting Hinsdale South Hornets (Darien, IL), observed Evergreen Park's basketball team overwhelm Hinsdale South by a score of 72-48.
The Mustangs (12-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Shepard (Palos Heights, IL). The Astros come into the South Suburban challenge with a 11-16 record. In their last challenge, Shepard trounced Kennedy (Chicago, IL), 78-37, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Berwyn/Cicero Morton Mustangs (Cicero, IL) in a West Suburban - Gold challenge, on Friday, February 14. Hinsdale South will attempt to improve on its 6-21 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 6-21 record after their 62-27 non-league win over Steinmetz College Prep (Chicago, IL).
