Illinois High School Basketball - Prospect can't hold off Hinsdale Central
February 11, 2025: Hinsdale, IL 60521 Hinsdale Central Red Devils (Hinsdale, IL) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL), 69-64 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Hinsdale Central advances its record to 27-2 on the year. The Red Devils travel to Proviso West (Hillside, IL) to face the Panthers in a West Suburban - Silver match on Saturday, February 15. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 6-13. Proviso West lost 66-45 in their recent non-league match against Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL)
The Knights now own a 12-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elk Grove for a Mid-Suburban - East match on Friday, February 14. Prospect will face a Grenadiers squad coming off a 89-42 non-league loss to Niles North (Skokie, IL). The Grenadiers record now stands at 3-25.
