In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Monroe Central Golden Bears basketball team scored a big 67-31 triumph over the South Adams Starfires.

The Golden Bears (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Wapahani (Selma, IN). The Raiders go into the Mid-Eastern contest with a 17-1 record. In their last contest, Wapahani smashed Eastern Hancock (Charlottesville, IN), 49-43, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Starfires battle the Adams Central Flying Jets (Monroe, IN) in a Allen County contest, on Friday, February 14. South Adams will attempt to better on its 5-12 season record.
