The Mt. Vernon Marauders defeated the visiting Pike Red Devils basketball squad by a final score of 66-58 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

Next, the Marauders clash with the Marion Giants (Marion, IN) in a non-league outing, on Friday, February 14. Mt. Vernon will attempt to upgrade on its 13-4 season record. The Giants come into the outing with a 9-8 record after their 70-64 non-league win over Warsaw (Warsaw, IN).

The Red Devils (10-8) will now prepare for their outing against North Central (Indianapolis, IN). The Panthers come into the Metropolitan outing with a 13-7 record. In their last outing, North Central overcame Princeton (Princeton, IN), 56-52, in a non-league outing.
