Michigan High School Basketball - Thurston overwhelms Woodhaven
February 11, 2025: Brownstown, MI 48134 The Thurston Eagles basketball team scored 47 points and limited the host Woodhaven Warriors to 21 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now possess a 15-5 record. They play next when they travel to Crestwood for a Western Wayne game on Thursday, February 13. Thurston will play a Chargers team coming off a 76-55 non-league loss to Lincoln Park (Lincoln Park, MI). The Chargers record now stands at 6-10.
With the loss, Woodhaven falls to 12-8 on the campaign. The Warriors host Roosevelt (Wyandotte, MI) to play the Bears in a Downriver game on Friday, February 14. The Bears go into the game with a record of 0-18. Roosevelt lost 54-41 in their recent league game against Carlson (Gibraltar, MI)
