Colorado High School Basketball - Evergreen can't hold off Pomona
February 11, 2025: Arvada, CO 80005 Pomona Panthers (Arvada, CO) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Evergreen Cougars (Evergreen, CO), 51-47 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Pomona advances its record to 4-6 on the year. The Panthers host Conifer (Conifer, CO) to face the Lobos in a match on Thursday, February 13. The Lobos enter the match with a record of 2-11. Conifer won 45-42 in their recent league match against Green Mountain (Lakewood, CO)
The Cougars now own a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Littleton for a match on Thursday, February 13. Evergreen will face a Lions squad coming off a 46-38 non-league win over Pomona (Arvada, CO). The Lions record now stands at 3-3.
